Boudoir & Intimate Couple Photography:Location

One of the concerns clients have when it comes to Boudoir or Intimate Couple photography sessions is location. Which is understandable! Location for your boudoir or intimate couple photography session is one of the most important factors to your photoshoot with me. The location is what brings a story fully together. It is what makes the vibe of the scene. Some feel fully comfortable with just doing the photoshoot in the comfort of their own home. Which I have no issue with! Your home could actually be the perfect location for your photoshoot.

When picking the right location we will go over some factors, such as:

  1. What is the storyline of the photoshoot? Is this a couples intimate session that’s playful and sexy. Maybe you two enjoy baking together. I scout a location that has a beautiful open kitchen with lots of counter space and natural light that flows through the windows that overlook an outside garden. I get shots of the two of you cracking eggs, mixing batter, throwing flour on each other, licking batter from a spoon, getting picked up and put onto the counter, etc. Just to give a small visual. ;) This location really brings this storyline together.

  2. Budget. Location fees aren’t included in the overall package price. The main reason I do not include location fees is because every Boudoir or Intimate Couple photography session will be different from one another. I want to give each project the freedom to happen where the story will be told best. Compared to me just having a studio that everyone comes to. This will also give flexibility to the overall cost of the photoshoot for you. There are many creative ways to have a Boudoir or Intimate Couples session even outside.

Once I gather the finer details for the photoshoot I will start researching and scouting out some location options.  From there, I will find some locations I feel will match the vibe and storyline we are going for and give you the option to choose your favorite.
